Who can avail of the Balikbayan Privilege Card?

•  Balikbayans who are based outside the province, either abroad or in the Philippines .

•  Members of the South Cotabato Provincial Tourism Council whose companies have participated in the Balik South Cotabato Balikbayan Privilege Card Program

How can a Balikbayan/SCPTC Member avail of the Card?

The provincial government of South Cotabato will issue the Balikbayan Privilege Card to:

•  Local or Foreign Balikbayans and SCPTC Members who have registered at the ACTS-PPDO. Recent company ID or a passport is required.

What are the features of the Balikbayan Privilege Card?

Balikbayan Privilege Card holders will:

* Enjoy special access and prime seats at selected Tnalak Festival Events (Balikbayan's only)

* Avail of year-round special privileges on products and services that participating SCPTC tourism establishments will offer;

How do Balikbayans distinguish participating companies or establishments?

Participating companies or establishments will DISPLAY ACCREDITATION STICKER (provided by the province) placed at the cashiers counter, front desk or areas visible to guests and visitors. Along with the card, the ACTS-PPDO office will provide the directory of the establishments for reference.

How to use the Balikbayan Privilege Card?

A cardholder will simply present the privilege card to accredited/participating companies. The company will acknowledge by extending special privileges to the cardholder. Each company has its unique offering which is stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding.

Monitoring

The South Cotabato Provincial Tourism Council will devise a monitoring system in order totrack Balikbayans who have availed of the Privileges. The monitoring system will be a helpful tool to gather significant statistics for future use.
